PhotoGalaxy Web Awards
More than ever it is necessary for a photographer to have an online presence so that they can connect with their target audience. Web design offers photographers more creativity and control over the way their photographs are presented that they ever had before. The process of presenting ones photographs online has become an art in itself and PhotoGalaxy Web Awards aims to recognize excellence in this marriage between photography and the internet.
Adjudicators look at a photographer’s website as a whole and evaluate the following key features:
- Photographic content and quality
- Web design originality, aesthetics and usability
- How well the website shows off the photographer’s work
If a website achieves a high standard across all criteria then it will be awarded the Highly Commended web award. Once a month the best websites will be chosen from those entered and awarded the Site of the Month web award. Award winners will receive a plaque to display on their website and a place in Winners Directory. Site of the Month winners will also recieve one month’s worth of PG Ads exposure.
