“This award program came into being in October 2001. Our website had received a number of awards, and we decided that the time was now right to create our own award program, and we are now listed in a number of award indices.
I am the one who leads the Unsers Award Program, so who am I?
My name is Kai-Uwe Hagemann and I was born in September 1965, making me 40 years old. I have two children, and have been in the internet for 9 years. Unsers.de was created in 2000, and we are constantly striving to improve our website and the award section. The basic thought of our program is as follows: “We won’t give our award to design/graphic sites only, but would like to honour any good work done by webmasters.” Of course, we also like good graphics, but we prefer to give our award to sites where lots of work and effort was put in the written content. Generally, we highly score sites that were obviously created as a personal, and real, hobby.”
