SMHAI Award Program
SMHAI strongly believes in encouraging the building of Internet sites that are informative, appealing to the eye, and family safe.
SMHAIÂ classification of web awards will recognize webmasters, who have worked hard to build a quality website, that effectively provides credible and reliable information plus is a valuable resource.
The sites awarded by SMHAI will stand above other similar web sites on the Internet. The content of each website will be the most valuable component. Sites that provide strong, credible, updated content will almost guarantee an award. Strong content and interactive functions for visitors, other than guest books, are also very valuable in our standards.
All types of sites are encouraged to apply, except sites that consist of link lists or other disqualifying content, as stated in our criteria. While these types of sites serve a purpose, they do not meet our rigorous criteria.
For outstanding sites with medical or mental health content, SMHAI has a special award. This award will inform the Internet world that the awarded site is a “must see” and is a “trusted site” containing vital and accurate information.
SMHAI web awards will not be easily won. Three or more judges will visit your site to determine if your site meets our criteria, is complete and provides accurate information. Please visit our pages on criteria and evaluation to obtain more in-depth information on the judging standards. If you meet these standards, we encourage you to apply for the SMHAI awards.
