The purpose DWA is to identify and honor all designers world wide for their efforts, hard work and skills. As a design award program, creativity should be the main criteria in all judgments.

The Dir Award program will hold Monthly Web Design contests, two Semi-annual Design competitions, a Student and an Annual competition in which participants will be able to choose from 8 categories. All participants will be notified as when submitting the project, when becoming a nominee, when the review process ends and when the final decision is taken.

For some time, the mark of a serious award program has been understood by many to be a rating by an awards-rating index.
