The 10 Second Club
The 10 Second Club is a monthly character animation competition.
The focus is on the animation, not the modeling, lighting or anything else. It’s all about practicing animating to dialogue like you would if you were to work for Pixar, PDI or a similar animation company where your daily job as a character animator is to animate to dialogue supplied to you by a director.
The club was originally founded by Jeffrey D Shaffer in late 2000. Not long after Robert Starr took over the site and it has been running monthly (well, nearly monthly 
ever since. It’s the worlds longest running and largest character animation competition.
The club is a non-profit website. Any money collected from Amazon book sales or other mediums is put back into the club in terms of hosting, maintenance and development costs.
We use soundfiles from commercial films so you may critique each others work. Please purchase these films to support their owners and creators if you find them valuable resources.
