Creativity Awards

First launched in 1970, the Creativity Awards is one of the oldest and most well established graphic design competitions. Each year we receive thousands of entries from firms of all sizes; our list of winners includes the most prestigious agencies, design houses and media creators from around the world. The yearly competition culminates with the publication of the Creativity Annual: a 400 page, full color hardcover distributed worldwide by Harper Collins.
Originated by Art Direction magazine founder Don Barron, the Creativity Annual was one of the first books to showcase leading-edge design not just from New York City, but from heartland America, and from all reaches of the globe. Over the years, the book has grown in size, scope and style. The Annual’s current editor David E. Carter has authored over 100 books on graphic design, including the extremely popular “Big Book” design series (over a quarter million copies sold). Mr. Carter created the Telly Awards, and he is known internationally as an expert in the areas of logo design, branding and corporate identity.
The Creativity Awards competition continues to honor the outstanding work done each year by creative professionals in every discipline. Awards are based strictly on the quality of the submissions, not the size, nor reputation of the firm. Creative firms whose work appears in the book receive one free copy immediately upon publication. Additionally, winners receive two handsome certificates for display and are eligible to receive an elegant trophy befitting the excellence of their achievement.
